What is a wind tunnel?

Wind tunnel is a freeflying simulator that generates massive air flow allowing to fly above the surface of the earth. It guarantees fully controlled, stable flight conditions. In a wind tunnel, you can experience undisturbed, free flying as the air flow carries you safely even a few meters up. Controlling your body movements and using your muscles you can influence the flying directions, flying up and down. The wind tunnel adventure perfectly reflects freeflying during skydiving. It is a unique, healthy physical activity for the whole family and a perfect proposal for a team building event.

Do I have to be a skydiver to fly in a tunnel?

Of course, not. A wind tunnel is for everyone - both kids and adults! You don't need any special trainings or certificates - before the flight our instructors will take you through a safety briefing and will accompany you during the flight.

Can kids fly in a wind tunnel? What is the minimum age?

Flying in a tunnel is great fun for kids. The minimum age is 5 y/o.

What should I put on?

You don't need to worry about clothes, we'll find you a perfect suit, helmet and goggles. However, you should bring comfortable training shoes to change before flying.

Where are you located?

FreeFlyCenter is located in the area of an airport and the Central Gliding School in Leszno, Poland (Szybowników 28 Street). Our wind tunnel is open Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm till 8pm.

How long is the flight?

One flight is 60 seconds long being an equvalent of one parachute jump from 4000m. Flying in a wind tunnel is quite an exercise, so for the first visit we recommend 2 to 20 minutes.

Are there any counterindications?

The weight limit is 110kg. It is not recommended to use a wind tunnel when being pregnant or after any shoulder or backbone injuries. If you have any doubts, please contact us by phone.

Can I fly with my friends/family?

Due to safety reasons in the case of beginners only one person and an instructor can be found in the tunnel.
